The Skykomish River

The action-packed Skykomish River is a must for any rafting enthusiast.  Featuring challenging class IV rapids, the Skykomish is always an adventure.  Typical of West Side rivers it is fast and and narrow, making for a thrilling ride.

During spring snow melt the Skykomish is at its best, the class IV rapids like Boulder Drop run at their prime as the snow melt slows in late spring and early summer.

The put-in for the Skykomish River is near Goldbar, Washington.  Contact Wild and Scenic for specific directions.
