Wild & Scenic River Tours is a locally owned and operated whitewater rafting company based out of Glacier, Washington. Glacier is the last town on Highway 542 East, which follows the Nooksack River to the Mt. Baker Ski Area. Created to appeal to smaller groups who want a personalized trip with 6 instead of the usual 8 people per raft. Our guides love rafting and will do anything to make sure you have fun on the river. We play where we live, and live to play outdoors. If we’re not running trips on the river we’re kayaking, skiing, or mountain biking right here in Whatcom County. We take pride in our safety record and attention to detail, ensuring you have the highest quality river experience.

Everybody is comfortable in our settings, families, corporations, church groups, boy scouts, or your group of friends. You choose- thrilling chutes over cascading waterfalls, healthy and challenging whitewater or relaxing floats through spectacular scenery. A nice flotilla for us is 48 people. We can accommodate groups of well over 100, but our favorite gathering includes 12-14 guests.

Continental breakfasts, riverside lunches or BBQ dinners, the meals are superb. We use a combination of professionally catered meals and lunches prepared and served by the riverside.

We're committed to your safety and satisfaction. Share the camaraderie with our Professional Guide Corps, who know and love these waters. Our perfect safety record results from extensive training (including Swiftwater Rescue techniques) and thousands of river miles. Our professional equipment features Sotar and Aire self-bailing rafts, oar guided craft when requested, Coast Guard Type V P.F.D.'s (personal floatation devices; life jackets), and clean, dry wetsuits & booties for all sizes.

We are Washington State Liscensed; members of P.R.O.W. (Professional River Outfitters of Washington); W.O.G.A. (Washington Outfitters and Guides Association), A.O. (America Outdoors); and over a dozen chambers and visitor bureaus.
